Shane is welcomed in as one of the guys and the boys waste no time making him comfortable. The characters chat about one of the biggest goals in Shane Harper's professional career and talking about the entire day that led up to playing in front of the largest crowd in AHL Outdoor History! The boys also chat about his NHL debut and how he made the Florida Panthers and survived two rounds of cuts to have his parents flown to Florida to watch his NHL debut. We also chat about how Wayne Gretzky attended one of his teammate's birthday parties and what he got from the "Great One" There seemed to be a great debate about same-side seating and when is it appropriate to sit on the same side? It also sparked some conversation from our live audience and live on social media last night. Dan also announces that Gordon Woodworth will be a guest on Talkin ' Smack and how we are all looking forward to Billy Floyd on the podcast next week! The guys wrap up the episode with a segment with Shane, called "Uncomfortable Questions From Shane Harper's teammates" and chat about what it's like being related to Jared Goff and how lead ESPN NFL Reporter, Adam Schefter popped on the show last night.

It's the debut episode of Talkin ' Smack live upstairs at the Bullpen Tavern, located at 216 Glen Street, Glens Falls, NY! It's certainly a first-packed episode! Not only are we celebrating the launch of the podcast but also as a network of Talkin ' Smack Productions with the three co-owners of Dan Miner, Hank Pelton, and Seth Cooper. In the audio version of Talkin' Smack episode one, Dan Miner welcomes everyone who made the trip out to the Bullpen to watch us live, we let our live audience know the ground rules of attending. Dan also introduces the cast of characters of "Snacks", "Sully Dog", "The Coach", and John Pratt, plus how one of our cast of characters is missing and why we send out our best wishes to RJ! The cast gets into their World Series predictions and what a heck of a performance Fat Joe had at Yankee Stadium and WHY the HECK was he standing and rapping all over the mound? With this episode being live before the Halloween Holiday, the gentlemen get into their favorite Halloween costumes and how cabbage night used to be back in the "good old days", They also park sometimes to chat about their experiences of being an in-arena host for the hockey team and how that relates to our special guest Billy Floyd in just a few weeks!
